I have been in volunteer services for over 20 years. When I started as a student coordinator I was in need of lots of help. All I did was open the roster and start calling others who had a great student program. I visited each of their programs and collected details on what made them so successful. I took this information back and modified it to fit what I needed.
I only received support and help to get my feet moving in the right direction. I still depend on the support of the members to make sure my program is where it needs to be. I have never had any one not be willing to share or offer help when needed.
I want to say thanks to all who have helped in the past and to those who continue to offer support for the future.
